Grandma’s Oatmeal Pie

Ingredients: – 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust – 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oat – 1 cup light corn syrup

– 3/4 cup packed brown sugar – 1/4 cup melted butter – 3 large egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.

1. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust, spreading it out evenly. 2. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.

Once done, remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Serve slices of Grandma's Oatmeal Pie on its own or with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
